  • Dreamwear full Face mask

I've been using the sleepnet Amara gel full Face mask which I really like, I have just gone from medium to large.

However I'm getting a really sore bridge to my nose. As an ex nurse I've used a few dressings to provide some slight cushioning.

Someone's mentioned the dreamwear full Face mask in a Facebook group, which is actually below the nose around the mouth as I'm a mouth breather.

I wondered if any other females had tried this with success or knows anywhere you can rent them or try them before buying, as I'm buying all my own equipment.

The hospital provide resmed 10 which isn't auto and I bought the Philips Respironics auto with humidifier and both sets of pipe's to go with it.

They say they can't interpret the information at the sleep clinic even though it's easy on the app when I screen shot the AHI s and time etc. It's because the respiratory team is the sleep team and obviously with the pandemic they're extremely busy. Thank you

    Good Morning,

    Thank you for your post

Do you mean the Ascend Gel Full Face Mask by Sleepnet - https://www.cpap.co.uk/ascend-gel-fu...k-fitpack.html or the Amara Gel Full Face CPAP Mask by Philips - https://www.cpap.co.uk/amara-gel-ful...cpap-mask.html

Have you considered trying the RemZzzs Mask Liners? These are a A soft cotton fabric liner creates a barrier, absorbs skin oils and reduces air leaks as well as skin irritation and pressure marks. Try a sample pack for just £6.99. On the product page, please scroll down to the compatibility table below to find which size you need for your mask - https://www.cpap.co.uk/remzzzs-cpap-...sk-liners.html

Alternatively you can consider buying a hybrid mask, such as
    1. DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask - FitPack - https://www.cpap.co.uk/philips-dream...k-1133400.html
    2. Amara View Full Face CPAP Mask - https://www.cpap.co.uk/philips-respi...3-1090604.html
    3. AirFit F30 Full Face CPAP Mask - https://www.cpap.co.uk/resmed-airfit...114-64115.html

All of the hybrid masks sit under your nose, and not on the bridge of your nose. Due to hygiene reasons we do not rent or loan any of our CPAP products. However you do have the option to take the mask fit insurance with the above masks at the time of purchase. The mask fit insurance is £19.99 on full face masks, and allows you to try the mask at home for 28 days. Should the mask be unsuitable for any reason, then you can return it for a refund of the mask price. Do you want to have a look at the above masks, and let me know if you have any questions.

with regards to the Philips dreammapper app, you can generate a summary report which you could then email the sleep clinic, if that would help. If you would like instructions on how to generate a summary report on the dreammapper app, then please let me know.

    Kelly
