In funny mood tonight , mental pic of Tube Brush being Basils brother and a lil tiny fox going down the tube swingin' its tail and leaving shininess behind it.....tiny boom boom noises coming out the end.

In my experience, a once a week 5 minute soak in Milton in the morning and left to air dry during the day seems to work very well. If you really want to make sure that the cholorine smell has gone flush tube and bits with warm water before filling the reservoir for the evening, I often use warm water for this to give the heating a head start. One should be careful of using the hot tap if the supply is not direct as bacteria can build up in the hot water tank. In this case just use a bit of warm NOT boiling water from the kettle.
