  • New Mask

I bought a comfort gel mask from the US for a very good price. Unfortunately it won't connect to my hose, the fittings seem incompatible. I have a heated tube connected to a F&P Icon.Anyone know if there is an attachment I can buy?

Call Intus - they'll know what can be done.

Please let us know the result. I had thought hose and mask fittings were standardised so I'm very interested to learn of exceptions.

Have a look to see if there's a sleeve on either the mask or inside the tubing. If there is this can be removed and then it should all connect up as usual!

Thanks Tom, I didn't get any extra bits & there was no sleeve with my tube.

Is it a different size or the same size but both female couplings? If the latter there is a small connector you can buy but that might cost you what you have saved.

Very strange. I guess the phrase "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" applies here.

We may still be able to salvage it though, let's not write it off yet. Could you perhaps post a picture of the connectors? As Barely Awake said, you can usually get a little connector anyway.
