    Breathing in your sleep

Been thinking about your remarks Dravidio regarding breathing through your nose. A bit belated, but I've had a busy August.
Before getting my PAP machine I always slept breathing by mouth as having sinus problems since childhood I could never breath through my nose, thus heavy snoring. I can now breath through my nose at night, what a revolution that is, and no more snoring. However I may go to sleep breathing through my nose but always awake in the morning again with mouth open. How do you teach yourself to breath through your nose all night?

Use a chin strap for a while to train yourself?
I suspect I only revert to mouth breathing on waking, or at least on entering the waking cycle. My attitude is then (rightly or wrongly) that I am only losing minutes at the very end of a satisfying end to end sleep in a nasal Sleepweaver, rather than wrestling throughoutout the night with any leaks thrown up by my full face gear. Interestingly (or maybe not) I have had to wear a gumshield over the past couple of weeks to circumvent a spate of tongue biting (cause unidentified), and whilst wearing the gumshield I never once wake up mouth breathing.
