Find mask noisey

Hi just started using a cpap machine about a month now,getting on not too bad. But I seem to find it noisy with the air inside the mask. The mask fits ok. Has any body else had this problem. I have been using ear plugs.

Noise

Hi, I have found that I experience noise when my ear is pressed against the tubing. Make sure your tubing is clear of your ears. For me--it produces a slight annoying hum. If its louder than that you may need longer tubing and a tube cozy also cuts down on the noise. Good Luck, x Berneta

I find using a hose cover dampens the sound but not completely.

I wear ear plugs as not only does it cut down the noise considerabley, I have now discovered my husband breathes really loudly. After the last 10 years of me being consigned to a bed settee we are finally back in the same room and he snores!!!!

Different masks, machines and hoses make different amounts of noise. I have given up with two masks because of how noise they are.
