As nasal collapse is a problem I encounter with a number of masks, whereby breathing in under CPAP my nostrils close before a full breath is taken, I have recently purchased a 'snore-no-more' nasal dilator and also a 'Megavent' to try them in conjunction with CPAP. The former looks like a giant paper clip made out of stainless steel that is inserted inside the nose and the latter is a plastic twin insert for the nostrils, and I am now wondering if this was a wise experiment on my part. Has anyone used nasal dilators in conjunction with CPAP or simply tried them as a method of preventing snoring?
