Some suggest there is an element of "sleep debt" albeit largely an unproven theory. So the idea is that if you've gone years without good sleep, you can't expect to feel perfect after 2 nights of good sleep. Whetehr that's fact or fiction remains to be seen, perhaps it's different for different people.
Also look elsewhere in your lifestyle for energy-improvements. It's winter now, tomorrow is "Blue Monday", statistically the most depressive day of the year. Lack of light can make you feel lethargic. Perhaps your food intake leaves room for improvement too.
Don't bank on CPAP being the silver bullet. Use it to boost your energy levels, then take charge elsewhere too. Better diet, more exercise, more light, positive thinking etc. It all contributes.

Southern Holiday
If I was wealthy I'd have a Winter Home on Capri, or Dominica. Blue skies, warm sun, sandy beaches, balmy breezes, and an occasional pretty drink with a pineapple-orange and rum drink, the kind with a tiny Pink Umbrella! Oh well--Its freezing rain here, and I am going to snuggle up with Cristy Cat and a warm quilt. xx Berneta
