  • Nasal Pain

I used a nasal pillow mask successfully for about 3 months, then the inside of one nostril became very sensitive and painful. I haven't been able to wear the mask for longer than 2 hours at a time since then. Does anyone have any suggetions for curing this problem?

    Nose Pain

HI--use a small amount of greasless pain killing lubricant inside and on the outside of the nose. Aloe vera with lidocaine is a good one. Get it where they sell sunburn products, Then loosen the strap on that side--its too tight. Tight straps mean sore nose inside and/or out. Been there--done that. It wil feel fine in a couple days. The straps should only be tight enough to stop leaks--not tight enough to pull your nose in any direction. The straps have to have just the right tension and that may take awhile to figure out. Sometimes if you wash your headgear (or get it wet from leaking water, perfume, or perspiration)-- the straps shrink slightly and have to be adjusted. Good luck. Berneta
