  • Total Face Masks? Anyone tried one?

In my increasingly expensive pursuit of the perfect mask - has anyone had any experience of the total face masks made by Phillips. They are expensive - but as a mouth breather who founds the pressure round the nose of a gel full face mask still difficult to cope with after over a year wonder whether this might be an alternative? Wouldn't it blow air around your eyes?

    Hi,
I have a fitlife, take a look and see if it might suit you?
Type "fitlife cpap mask" into google and do a search for it.
Let me know what you think. Oh and you dont notice it blowing into your eyes, you could read with it as long as you don't need glasses.

Right I have looked at information available on the web. Most of it comes from firms supplying the mask - and obviously they are going to be positive. I have checked out the Philip's site which gives detailed information. Only found a couple of places where there are reviews of the mask and they are mixed. A couple said the mask was easily dislodged during sleep and not that good for people who sleep on their side (as I do) At £175 it's a bit of a risk! Some people gave it very positive reviews.

        Big if

        Hi dravido

At £175 I think no way is it worth the risk. If you can get it from the States, however .......

The design of it makes it extremely difficult to maintain a seal over your forehead - and the same design fault is what makes it easy to dislodge for side-sleepers.

Still US$190 from the States and that's without shipping costs.

              Not necessarily so!!

              Hi Dravidio

I have a barely used, large Fitlife mask, ex-US, I'd be happy to sell to you for less than half the price asked in UK.

I can't see any, but if you were to find any ego on it, I'm sure it would wash off easily enough.

If you are interested, please PM me. Offer goes to anyone else.

These masks seem to be popular with folk who like to read in bed with their masks on, ready for sleep.
