  • Nasal masks

I went back to clinic for second time as mouth and throat very dry with full mask. Given a nasal pillow to try and had 2 brilliant nights with no leaks! Can't believe how comfortable this set up is compared to a full mask. At first clinic appt mentioned I had allergies, sinusitis etc and the technician quickly said I need a full face mask. however the technician who gave me the nasal mask said that some people with nose problems find they become less of a problem with a nasal mask as the nose unblocks with the air. this is what I am finding.

My point is this - if you are suffering with leaks and soreness with a full mask try and give the nasal pillows a go - it is so much more comfortable.

I got a nasal mask today after a full face drove me mad for 3 weeks. Hoping for a good nights sleep tonight!

Glad you had a good experience with the nasal pillows. I could not get on with them - but I have just got a Sleepweaver mask which is quite something else...
