      Is that all?
Tigers won anyway so whats the problem?
Course I didn't watch the game so it doesn't have the same effect as if I had.
Why were they playing so badly anyway?

        Detractors need to unite!

Go on, rub it in, then!

PLease note, acebass, that we took five points

Your question is most apposite, Lorraine. Why indeed?

I'm on very thin ice here, having taken James to task for starting a soccer thread not long ago.

          Ho--hum

GEEESH! I have enough trouble Understanding British English--and along comes Hectopascals, and Microns (or was that Microbes?) all mixed up with Football Games, or something TF you are a Technical Genius. I am going to print this all out, and some night when I can't get to sleep, I'll read it. Bet it will put me right to sleep in a hurry, as long as I don't think about that reference to your large gaping mouth--which will probably set me off again in hysterical laughter. (I can picture you swallowing up the Universe like an enormous Black Hole.) Wish I could say I understood it all--but I must be dumb as a box of rocks! I just plug it in--and if it works it works--if not--then someone else can worry about the Hectopascals. I guess you would have to explain it to me in baby talk! LOL, Berneta

            The magic of the NHS

            Hi Berneta

Beware men of many words and with authoratative voices -especially chocolate brown ones like mine!

Can you explain this to me? It defies logical explanation so maybe a woman's intuition is required.

I bought a headgear for my Quattro, arrived in a day, and it gives me good sleep. The NHS took a tad over a month to suppy me with a headgear for my Quattro - and for the two night's I've used it I've average 8 3/4 hours of astoundingly good sleep, and I mean astounding!

            How is that?

So you're getting good sleep--whats the problem? We haven't gone into the Black Hole yet. Let sleeping Dragons lay. Berneta

                Short lived

                Hi Berneta

Good while it lasted! Last night I was late to bed, 'still' awake at 3am, woke at 7.30 with a gentle huff, huff, huff into my right eye every time I exhaled. Godamned headgear had shifted a good 5mm to the left - and mask with it, of course. NHS straps - hah!

                  Dragons

Hi TF--any smoke in those Huff Huff Huff's? Told you to let the Sleeping Dragon's lay. Now there's nothing to do but put on your armor and shield, and go to work on the Dragon. Soon you'll have the straps right again, and get back to sleeping good. Maybe you need a nap today. Sometimes I think those straps are made just so they stretch or retract with the weather-- or dare I say "just to irritate us" whenever we get to feeling too good. After all--if they were perfect every time--they would go out of business selling new ones. Sorry about your bad night--hope tonight is a lot better! Berneta

                    Bizarre!

                    Hi NightOwl

Something in your post - no! I couldn't find your post so I went to your Profile, anyway - looked you up on Facebook It has to be you, even if it says from Keokuk not Basco (different understandings of 'hometown'?

Are you Aide to a Retired Nurse or Nurses' Aide, now retired? Read on, TF - she tells you!

Good to put a face to your name.

Am I to take it that you have been chasing dragons and huffing their smoke?

Maybe it was the same technician? I seem to see a different one each time I go these days.

I speed-read your post too quickly and thought that some "chefs" did something to you yesterday lol! I was quite relieved when I re-read the post as I would have been rather worried otherwise...

                        vent holes??

                        Holy cow Batman!!

All this fuss about vent holes / exhaust valves/ exhalation ports!!
The basics boil down to this - in any mask and tube combination for CPAP and BiPAP systems there has to be one vent or exhaust valve thingy. Without it, it would cause CO2 rebreathing coma and possible eventual death if worn long enough... good luck with the superglue in the holes or sticky tape!
Most long term home use systems have the "exhaust hole/holes" in the mask somewhere, whereas many systems used in the hospital settings used to deal with acute situations tend to have the exhaust hole/holes in the tubing.

                        Clear as mud?? haha!!
