    Hi

been on cpap a couple of weeks now, and it's largely working

I am on my second mask , a resmed Mirage Quattro medium full face.

This has stopped the leaks I was getting around the mouth.

However I am waking up with a very sore nose bridge in the morning. I don't know if this is because I haven't quite got it adjusted right, or because I need a large mask.

I spoke to hospital and they sent me some gel like things to put on my nose, but I couldn't get this right last night - was causing leaks into my eyes.

Can anyone help me with a solution?

    Thanks

    G

Have a look at this thread. OldCrow has been up to all sorts with his mask!
Chat with other CPAP users about sleep masks. Discuss product options, fitting, mask reviews, maintenance etc.
    Kind regards, Tricia

      Twi things

      Hi Geoggster

      Welcome to the forum!

Acouple of things I can think of: have you turned the knob to cause the mask to lift away from your face by using the forehead rests? If that doesn't help, search on-line in the US sites for a mask size template - maybe Intus make them available, too.

        thanks for the replies.

I have ordered some Remzz to see if they help.

I have also bought some cushioned plasters from Tesco - and they seem to help.

If i loosen the forehead screw too much i get leaks in my eyes, tighten it too much I get a very sore nose.

I can't decide if I should persevere, or try something like a combi mask, but then that's three seals not one and they get mixed reviews as well.

Is this going to be like most things in life - i.e. you will never get it perfect, so you just learn to live with what you have?

        (thats a bit philosophical!!)
