Check out this OPAP mask, presumably Oral-PAP, which is like a mouth guard, similar to nomask.com, but delivering the air straight to the back of the throat.

Couple of questions I would have...
How do you stop yourself breathing through your nose?
The bit that goes in your mouth looks too big, do they make different sizes?

I gathered from the video that the mouth insert would be created using dental techniques to give you a personalised fit. So it would be YOUR size.

What happens if a patient sleeps with thier mouth open? Will it just fall out, air escape etc?

My Consultant mentioned something about this, but I didn't realise it had to be linked to the hose!

I don't think it would fall out since it's made to measure and looks like it's moulded to fit the roof of your mouth.

I can sleep on my side with the full face mask, but I'd quite like to try this.

I dont like the idea of it one bit. I have an awful gag reflex and I just know I couldnt cope withit.
I will stay with my full face mirage quattro thanks
