ZZZ full face mask

Hi everyone

I recently had a look at the ZZZ style full face mask which look a bit different from some of the others like the Resmed Mirage or Quattro, or Respironics Comfort, or the F+P flexifit fu,ll facemasks in that it doesnt have any forehead support. I guess that may make it slightly less claustrophobic. What do people think of the ZZZ mask, specially when compared to the ones mentioned? Good? Bad? Ugly? lol, and why???

The Zzz-Mask and the Hans Rudolph 7600 are the only ones without a forehead support pad. That can sometimes mean a trickier ride to set things up but those who have a dislike for those forehead pads, have had great success with them generally.

The Zzz-Mask is very basic, hence the price, and this tends to result in a Marmite like effect. Either people get one swimmingly (luckily the majority) or people don't like them at all. The plyability is great, it'll fold up cunningly without affecting the seal too much. Something to do with the celever way of moulding this silicone. Do check the Zzz-Mask reviews.

The Hans Rudolph one is more sturdy and I'd expect it to last longer. It's also a bit bulkier and more solid.

I know some of the forum users here have the Zzz-Mask so I'm sure some will come and share their findings.

I put my success with CPAP purely down to my use of the ZZZ full face mask .
I think its a brilliantly simple, full face, starter mask.

I say starter mask as it can make the bridge of the nose sore but then I swap over to another mask with a forehead support for a while but I always go back to the ZZZ.

The one fault I have with the ZZZ mask is the poor headgear.It stretches and stretches and stretches. I have had to shorten the straps and replaced the Velcro tabs with stick on ones.

ZZZ Face mask

I bought a resptronics 500 machine with a ZZZ full face mask as a 1st time machine . The reason for buying was I am a mouth breather .

Its very comfortable ocassionally leaks when turning over in bed but generally am getting a good six+ hours sleep a night ! What I would say is I have changed from beeing a mouth brether to a nasal breather so may try a nose only job . But still keep the ZZZ incase of winter colds etc .
