Don't know what machine you have but there are ways of finding out how to turn it up a bit. So list and someone will help. Be very careful and write down everything you do. My machine has several stages or panels to go through before you get to the goodies so make sure you are not going to bite yourself in the butt because you changed the wrong thing.
By the way doctors and DME people hate it when you bring a machine back in to get it re-combobulated. It takes away from their GOD complex and makes them angry. Or at least it does in America.

Hi Rees
you mentioned a pressure requirement of 11.4cm... can you tell me how that was arrived at? Was this a Did you use an auto-titrating unit to arrive at a 90% or 95% pressure that you were told? There is little difference between 11 and 11.4, but there is no obvious reason why you shouldnt be able to have your unit set at 11.5 to ensure you receive adequate pressure. I would also think about leakage - excess leakage can cause problems including apnoeas or snoring, dry mouth, or disturbances in your sleep when the CPAP unit tries to compensate for the leakage by blowing with more volume. Leakage can come from around the mask, or if you are using a nasal mask, it can be a mouth leak.
Good luck
