On a serious note, I had awful wind and stomach pains for the first 3-4 weeks and I was on a pressure of 10. I have had my machine adjusted a few times since then and am now on 15.
I don't think the pressure is an issue, I found that it was breathing through my mouth was the problem. I have taught myself to nose breath only and the problem is resolved. It took a little while to stop mouth breathing but it was worth it.
I hope that helps someone.

This wind problem is getting worse for me, in as much as I waken up with pain first, and then the pooting starts. The pooting isn't getting any better with time.
Two questions:-
1) How do I learn to breath through my nose only?
2) Will drinking peppermint tea before I go to bed help?
Last night I tried to go to sleep keeping my top teeth closed against my bottom teeth. It didn't work. My jaw kept relaxing. I should probably persist like you did, but I'm so desperate I don't have the patience. The pain that goes before the pooting is really bad.
I've just ordered a chin strap from Intus. If it works, and I'm sure it will *fingers crossed*, I might ask the NHS if I can get rid of the full face mask and just use a nose mask.
My Chin Strap arrived yesterday, with quite poor fitting instructions (yes guys, us girls actually read instructions!). I felt like I was wrestling with an octopus on my head - I was starting to really hate velcro. However, I won eventually.
So off to bed, chin strap on, mask on and fingers crossed that it would stop the pain and pooting.
I woke up during the night with my nose blocked and gasping for breath, which resulted in me swallowing even more air, causing the pain again.
So tonight I'll have the Vic's Vapour Rub by the side of my bed, and I'll try putting Olbas Oil on a pad at the air in-take part/thingy (I love technical terms!) of the hose.
Oh Tricia, such a shame, it would have given you more confidence if it had worked first time.
I hope tonight is better for you.
I had the tummy pains for about 3 weeks before they eventually stopped so there is still hope!
I am going to see my dentist in April to see if they can find a way of helping me keep my mouth closed without biting my tongue. If I get anywhere I will let you know.
Keep trying and chin up! (Literally).
