  • Not this quick surely

I have had my first night on CPAP and coped with it much better than I could possibly expect.
I woke this morning feeling a bit "different" for want of a better word but obviously its much too early to notice any change.
It was only when I was briskly walking back from the supermarket this afternoon it dawned on me.
I dont briskly walk back from the supermarket its normally a lethargic trudge.

Studies show there's a surprisingly big placebo effect in the early stages but that aside, it does of course do its job well right away. It's just a matter of getting on with it and it sounds like you're doing very well.

One more good night and you're ready for the London marathon

I did another recording of my breathing last night and I was surprised that for about the first hour or so I was still snoring .
After an hour or so the snoring stopped and my breathing was regular and quiet.
My previous recordings made before I was using APAP showed that after the first hour my breathing was stopping for worrying lengths of time.
The APAP machine is doing its job
