    Alarm settings

    Hi sleepster

You are triggering an alarm setting is all - designed to wake you up, of course, so all is as it should be.

As you are awake and breathing, there is nothing to worry about - press the ramp button and go back to sleep.

Now, if the alarm goes off and you don't wake up and you aren't breathing - well, still nothing to worry about, I guess.

If you don't like the alarms, you can shut them off from the Clinicians' Menu. If you do that, try switching 'on' the 'Auto Off' function. Near as I can figure, instead of sounding the alarm beeps, it shuts the machine down. Strangely, this didn't wake me as much as the alarms, so I figure the benefit is that the humidifier reservoir stays pretty full all night. Sleep quality is, of course, utter crap!

Lift the little cover up right over the buttons and look at the screen. Then read the book to tell you how to shut it off or leave it on.
