Hi Asley and welcome ot the group!
Purified water would be best, I think. In tap water (and bottled) are many components that shouldn't go into the human body so the more you can filter out, the better. If you can afford it, a filter with RODI (Reverse Osmosis and DeIonisation) would be best, so I've heard. The osmosis sytem pushes the water through such a fine maze filter, all molecules other than water gets taken out. Some of them even make medically pure water.
In order of desirability from what I understand about water:
- Tap water
- Boiled (then cooled) tap water
- Bottled water
- Deionized water
- Cheap filter water (Brita)
- Reverse osmosis
- RODIIf you can read this...
...at least you seem to be getting enough sleep to stay awake and alert!

Some health shops also sell large buckets (5 litre) of purified water. Sometimes this can also be found in aquatics shops.
Using pure water also reduces wear and tear in the humidifier and mask. You can also try saline nasal sprays before and after sleep, to cleanse the nose and prevent build up of material from the water and air that shouldn't be there.
PS welcome to the forums!
