Can I Choose NHS Machines? Want S8!

Can I get S8 from Nhs I'm not very happy with the one they issued me (sleep style 200) I was diagnosed with Res Med S8 and I found it fantastic now they say they need to keep the cost low .Any advice

Hi Snorer66, welcome to the hoseheads club
I have an S8 that was issued by my local NHS sleep centre,some centres use them and some dont, but I regret that unless you buy your own machine you are pretty well stuck with what they give you unless you can prove that it is not doing the job from a clinical perspective. You might try and see if you can charm them into changing it, but you don't have any right to demand a particular machine (I work in the NHS)
