  • Resmed S8 Escape programing

Does anyone know how to access the programing menus on the S8 Escape. I am just cusrious to see what pressure mine is set at.
Also mine appears to increase the pressure in the middle of the night, is this possible?

On ResMed's machines, the pressure is shown as a sequence of dashes. From the manual (at least when ramping has been enabled):

When ramping begins the LCD will display the word "RAMPING", with the current pressure indicated as dashes. Each dash is approximately equivalent to 2 cm H2O. For example, six dashes represents approximately 12 cm H2O pressure.
I don't think that machine should be changing its pressure.

Thanks James, I will check this out on my machine. I have been told that some machines can be programed to give different pressures at different times, I just wondered if the S8 was one of these as I am pretty certain it blows harder about 4 hours after startin, but then seems to calm down again

        S8 Escape

        Hi Les,
I also have the S8 and it certainly doesn't change once its set. only time you get a different air pressure is when its 'ramping'

If you still having problems or want to know anything else I can look it up on my one for you.

        Have fun, Jon...

          Hi Jon
It is not a problem, it was just my perception that it was happening. However I am told the machine is incapable of doing this so I must have been imagining things. It can't be the ramp as I have that set at 5 mins
