  • At what point should i start worrying about CSR ?

As the title says ! Was diagnosed with an AHI of 40+ and given an Airsense 11 . Been on this now about a month with no tangable benefits . Had a look at the data with OSCAR , which shows CSR over 41 days min 0.0,med7.68,max38.11. So far google tells me about heart gailure , stroke etc. Can anyone elaborate ?

    Good Afternoon,

    Thank you for your post.

So an AHI (sleep apnoea events per hour) of 30 or above is classed as severe. CPAP therapy is the gold standard treatment for sleep apnoea. The aim with the CPAP machine is to get your AHI score down to 5 events per hour or under. The CPAP users with severe sleep apnoea normally feel the benefit from CPAP therapy the most and sleep better,

Did you buy your machine privately or did you get your machine from the NHS? I would suggest discussing your data with whoever you got the CPAP machine from. They should be able to review your data and advise any issues - ie if you have high leakage on your mask for instance.

        Good afternoon,

        You are more than welcome.

Some of our customers use sleephq.com and upload the data from the airsense11 CPAp machine SD card. This may be easier for you to look at and have a better understanding of the data is showing.

If you have any concerns, then please get in touch with your NHS sleep clinic.

        Kelly

            Hi Gaily,

We currently sell the Resmed Airmini CPAP machine bundles and the BMC M1 travel CPAP machine - https://www.cpap.co.uk/cpap-products...cpap-machines/

Can I kindly ask you to have a look at the above link for the travel machines, and then either call us on 0800 024 8050 or email us at [email protected], and we can help you look at the different travel machines available and answer any of your questions.

Please note that travel machines are louder than the main CPAP machines, so we do suggest using them for a few weeks before you travel so you can get used to the different machine.

            Kelly
