Humidifier Descaling

Hi. I wonder if someone could help. I live in a hard water area and use cold boiled water in my humidifier. But it is showing a build up of scale. I wash it our regularly but I can't remove it by soapy water. Any suggestions on how I can remove the limescale? Many thanks in advance. Graham

Hello, Ideally only distilled water should be used with your humidifier and only boiled water occasionally when no distilled water available. Please used a solution of white vinegar and water to remove limescale.
