Philip's dreamstation pro humidifier

Hi all.
Another question from a newbie.
I'm considering buying a humidifier for my Dreamstation Pro. I wake at night with a totally dry mouth and need to turn off the machine and take a drink. Never had this issue before going on CPAP.
I cant find any menu regarding the humidifier on the machine. Do they become enabled once the humidifier is fitted or has the clinic got to do this in their setup?

About a month ago I had a sleep study after CO2 was found in my Blood and resulted in 58 Central Sleep Apnoea an Hour (58CAI) - Am now on a CPAP which is for the Obstructive Apnoea I also have - Am awaiting Surgery are there any Government Benefits which I am entitled to claim ? - Thanks

Thank you for your post.

Using CPAP equipment can cause you to suffer from a dry mouth or nasal passage. A humidifier with your CPAP machine will help with this.

The humidifier settings will only show up on the CPAP machine once a humidifier is connected, and then you can change the settings accordingly for the humidifier.

Thanks Kelly, I guessed the humidifier had to be connected first but needed to clarify.
