  • Hello!

Hello everyone! I started cpap 3 days ago having being told it's quite severe at 57 episodes an hour. I've noticed I feel more refreshed although I did have an all day headache yesterday. My ahi score has increased each time I've used it. From 9.6 on the first night, 13.6 the second and last night it came in at 17.8. 100% mask fit. I realize it is very early days and will persist. Well I would persist tonight but whilst I was at work today my dog got in our bedroom and chewed the seal off my full face mask!
if anyone has any input as to my ahi readings I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    Hello Chris,

What you have to take into consideration is that you went from a score of 57 event per hour to 9.6, 13.6 and 17.8. It is very good.

As you say yourself, you feel more refresh and no more headache. It is already a great improvement. As you have an automatic machine, it adjust to your need during the course of the night. It varies.

It is also very good to read that you have a 100% mask fit as the hardest part of the therapy is to find the right mask. It is a shame that your dog took some interest in your mask.
