hi all im chris im 26 from warrington. i have marden walker syndrome and sleep appnea. i only found out about the sa when i kept wakin up black and blue each morning and couldnt breath or see etc. the cpap machine made a huge difference to me it was like a new lease of life from being asleep 24 hours a day and tired to being energetic etc. unfortuatly i have my cpap machine stolen so i phone the hospital as im struggling without it again im really tired and down and they said id have to be reffered yet again by my gp? my question is why if im a patient at wythenshawe hospital i see proffessor woodcock yet i cant get a new machine what do i do.

A stolen CPAP, that's a first! How did that happen?!!!
Sorry to hear the trouble they are giving you. Must be a nightmare for you.
If they keep bugging you, here are a few options but you may have to get your wallet out unfortunately:
- CPAP-Europe.com
- EU-PAP.co.uk
- ResMed's rental scheme
- Respironics MOST scheme
- Ask around here, perhaps someone has an old machine lying around they can do you a deal on.

hi all thanks for your reply to my question. does anybody have one cheap lol . my circumstances was i left home at 24 due to my father beating me etc so i moved out nand my landlady took all my money etc passport etc (she was a drug addict i helped her get off the stuff. my machine got stolen and my wallet my clothes etc. she kept me hostage for 12 months really and wouldnt let me go to my appointments (she raped me ) i was scared but i found my gf somehow and from 4 months ago am happy living at her parents who have been very helpful.

but just wish i could afford to go private for a cpap machine but they cost a lot im sevewrely disabled so on dla etc .
