  • Change of machine from S8 Auto to S9 Auto

After 5 years of using my S8 Autoset Spirit I have bought a new S9 Autoset with humidifier with climate line. I have been using it now for one week and have the most horrific sore throat. My climate line is set for 27C - is this high enough?

I am also finding the new machine not nearly as user friendly as the S8 where I could find out how much leakage there was and how many AI's and HI's I had each night.

The instructions supplied with the new machine do not give a great deal of information nor does the information on the web.

After one week and a great deal of money I am really quite disappointed with the new machine.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to get into the menus easily and perhaps give me some advice on the right temperature for the climate line. I have been a CPAP user since the beginning of 2008 so not new to using the equipment and its side effects.

I set mine to 28C and occasionally to 29C. if my throat is suffering.
I start to get rain out at the 30c setting.
If you are still having problems the climate line can be set to "manual" but then you are then more likely to have "rain out" problems
