Well it's about a year now since I got my new Resmed S9 + H5i humidifier. I have the heated Climateline hose which developed a large split requiring home surgery to fix.
All in all I've had a very good year with it - it's much quieter than the old S6 I had and the EPR is, for me, a godsend. I use the humidifier very infrequently as I find dry mouth issues are very on and off with the weather.
I'm delighted with Churchill Hospital, Oxford as they are great about upgrading masks and get parts out quickly. Mostly I can deal direct with Resmed UK who's customer service is excellent. I have a new hose and Quattro FX full face mask coming in the post as we er.. speak! I have no real problems with the older Quattro mask I had, it does tend to leak a little despite regular cleaning and I'm just hoping the new FX model lessens that.
I use my S9 for about 8 hours everynight without fail. I can't imagine going to bed without it and I've been on CPAP for about 7 years. Definately works for me.
