Newbie - Resmed S9 Escape +humidfier Stops During The Night

Hi,

I'm a newbie, and have only been using my Resmed S9 + humidifier for a week but I've come across a problem. During the night, my machine stops blowing air altogether which wakes me up. It does this a few times, until I restart it again.

Does this mean there's a problem, or is it meant to run until I turn it off ?

I started off using the nasal pillow mask, but now I'm wearing a full mask, as I breath through my mouth.

Any advice would be much appreciated .

sounds like a fault to me

Are you sure you are not accidentally hitting the off button whilst asleep?
make sure that you can't do that and if it happens again report back to your clinic.

Are you sure its switching off? I sometimes think my machine isn't working, and have to hold my hand in front of mask to see if its still blowing out cold air.
If it is actually switching off, phone clinic right away, don't wait for your next appointment.
