How To Operate Remstar M-Series Buttons?

I have a RemstarPro M Series with humidifier. How do I know when a button has been pressed to activate functions? They dont depress or change colour. The ramp function sometimes seems the same as the pressure prescribed, i.e. 13. I am not getting on as well now the pressure has been increased from 4.

I think we will need a little more info. i.e. who upped the 4 pressure? And by how much? Is 13 the max pressure setting?

On my machine, the first ramp setting was at 4 min. and 10 max. the air flow difference should be very noticeable. At 13 it should be blowing like a wind tunnel. But I don't know what all your machines settings are now. It could be it needs servicing, when was this last done?

On my machine when you turn it on, it goes right to full (10). Then you press ramp. The pressure straight away drops to 4 and you should be able to feel the difference. As the designers possibly considered this when the control buttons came off the drawing broad, the bells and whistles that we may expect did not figure in the equastion as working function would be obvious.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It is a new machine, the original one was changed on the doctors instructions. I was started off at 4 and when they measured the results after 1 month, he prescribed a pressure of 13. However, I think I am getting used to it now. Like you say, to begin with, it felt like a gale of wind, but I can sleep well now. I live in France, and the technician comes to visit to the house, it is an excellent service. I suppose the humidifier begins automatically when the machine is switched on, there is no switch to activate it? My instruction book is in French, and my French is average to say the least

Also, what is the switch on the far right for?

Hi and welcome!

The button on the right enables or disables C-Flex. When on, it tracks when you breathe out and will reduce the pressure at that very moment so it's easier to exhale. With it on, it's definitely easier to handle larger pressures.

thanks for your reply. Each night is getting a bit better, I still have a bit stuffiness in the mornings, but less each day. The best thing is that I dont keep the whole house amused with my snoring

Interestingly, I go to bed with a stuffy running nose and after a few minutes it starts to clear up. Wake up next morning with a clear head. May be something in the atmosphere that I am reacting to, which is being filtered out by the air filter on the machine.

It's me again

After a year of successful use, my Remstar M pro has stopped working. It beeps constantly and when I lift the lid it says that Maintenance is required.
Do I have to call my Technician (I live in France btw), or is it something I can do myself?

If your filters are clean and all the electrical connectors pushed firmly home, it sounds very much like you need your technician to maintain your 'M' Series.

Does it show an error code? If it's serious, it will and you will then have to have it serviced.
