Welcome we have all been new to this at some time

There is no problem with taking your COPAP on a plane, the problem of carrying it through security is due to me and many others traveling on business with their laptop in a second case.

If you take one bag, there is not a problem.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CPAP IN THE HOLD. They are quite fragile, and more importantly, it is one thing to buy a few clothes if your case goes astray, but buying a new CPAP is just not going to happen. A week or so trying to sleep without your CPAP will spoil even the best holiday.

Keep it with you as hand luggage, if you dont have a laptop or camera bag its not a problem.

If you do, get a note from your sleep centre about your needs to use CPAP and print of the page from the department of transport web page, where it states you can carry personal medical equipment, and just hold your ground. If really comes to it, put the camera or other bag in the hold, but dont let your CPAP out of your sight.

          Hi all.

Just got back from holiday to Tenerife.

Travelled from Manchester. Took me CPAP machine in my hand luggage. No problem going through security at both airports.

          Regards

          Alan

            Hi Alan
Did security take a look at it and ask questions or did they just wave you through?

                Thanks Alan.
I'm flying from Cardiff later this year. First time with my APAP. I just hope their provincial security staff are up to speed with CPAP/APAP machines.

                Best regards
                Andy
