    Automatic Mask Adjustment

Ditto on the S9 looks great machine, I have the earlier model and am very happy with it.

The issues you have with the humidifier setting and mask are normal, I found that having a real belief that it will work, helped with determination to get round the issues.

Though most of the problems go away the remaining ones like adjusting mask in the night if necessary become automatic, you may even find you do it in your sleep

It becomes so normal that you would get very upset if someone took it away. In fact just as upset as you sound in your inital post.

      Progress

      Hi Everyone
Well it's now been 6 months. I have given up on the mask, returning machine this week. Have had a mouth splint fitted and so far so good. It is so much easier. Still in the adjustment phase but am feeling very positive about it.

        Hi wennty,

Shame the CPAP didn't work out, but glad to hear you are getting alternative therapy! Is it the SomnoDent by any chance? Seeing as you are in Melbourne and the splint comes from Australia and being very popular there, I suppose there's a decent chance it is.

          Mouth Splint

          Hi
I am not sure. I had it fitted and made to fit my jaw. It cost nearly $2000 but if it works will be worth every cent!!
It will be awhile until I know if it works I have to make an adjustment every 4 days to gradually move my jaw forward.
At the moment it is working a bit but I feel tired still so hasn't solved the problem, but hopefully it will.
          Cheers Wendy
