It took me a long time (about 18months) to risk buying a new CPAP machine specifically to use on our family narow boat.
The issues were: could I get a machine to work on 12voltDC battery-power and, importantly, that it didn't drain the batteries overnight.
Thanks to James (initially) and Linda (three weeks ago) at Intus I finally bought a SleepCube and the appropriate leads ... and ... have just returned from a sleep-full two weeks cruise across the fens in East Anglia! Not a 240AC socket in sight - just the normal re-charging of the boats 12volt batteries during the daytime as we went chugging slowly along.
So, now we know we can go on longer trips - not just out & back in a day.
One happy Apnoea sufferer and one VERY happy wife.
