Hello all
You may have seen my other post asking to sign my petition. Since becoming aware of the petition SATA and NICE have become involved.
The advice is that NICE guidelines state that CPAP treatment should be awarded to all OSA patients with moderate to severe sleep apnoea. It is MANDATORY that these guidelines are followed and any trust that is not following them is breaking the law. This information has come straight from NICE to a friend of mine who was refused CPAP.
Therefore if you encounter difficulties with recieving CPAP please inform the trust of the above and also inform them that you will be contacting NICE directly to inform them.
