  • Pressure too high?

I am not having much luck, had an appointment with the sleep doctor today at 4pm, he had gone home at 2pm!
I needed to see him because I had the pressure increased to 14.2 a fortnight ago and since them I have been having a lot of pain in my back and sides around the rib area. The pain goes when I get up and start to move around. I was wondering if the pressure was too high. Does anyone have any ideas?
I wont be able to see anyone before Monday and am not sure what to do in the meantime. I can get into the settings and change them if it is the right thing to do.
I also wanted to see him because I got a call from my GP surgery to say that the results of my echocardiogram say that I have an enlarged heart. I dont know what the significance is and again there is no one I can see until next week and it has scared me
If anyone can offer words of comfort I would much appreciate it.
(please don't tell me anything bad, I can't take it!).

    People say ......

    Hi Lorraine

...... that aching lungs and ribs are caused by them getting an un-accustomed workout when we go onto CPAP or have a significant increase in pressure.

If you think the pressure is too high and you know how, why not drop it a bit and observe the result?

An enlarged heart is a symptom too far for me, I'm afraid. Maybe you can think of yourself as being big hearted - a grand thing to be!

And -erm - why didn't you ask you GP when he told you?

      Hi TF,
I would have asked the doctor but it wasn't my doctor (she would have said to go in and see her for the results).
It was a new doctor at the practice who just rang me on my mobile to tell me and we had a problem understanding each other because of a language difference, if you get my drift? I tried to ask questions but I wasn't understood.
I will make an appointment on Monday to see someone that I know.
Why do these things always happen on a Friday and you have to wait all weekend to get answers?
