HI everyone
i;m not impressed, just before xmas i started on cpap, first weeek was great then went onto loaned fixed pressure, things got worst, daytime sleepyness, then dry throat, so nhs give me a cpap with humidifier 2 weeks ago, it was worst, was not sleeping well with humidifier on changed setting on humidifier ect no improvment,
then this week took mask off in my sleep and woke up feeling better!! so humidifier is off now.
also few years ago test showed, magic eye that my throat was red and inflamed through acid reflux, fixed pressure is annoying my throat, making me thirst no amount of fluids is quenching my thirst, dry throat is making my mouth dry ect, i;m not diabetic all other bloods are normal, i;ve only had this prob since fixed rate cpap
i;m not getting on with fixed rate cpap and have not for weeks i even had thrush last week in a personal part of my body!! gp put it down to being run down, and worn out so phiscally my boDy is saying i need a break here, but sleep clinic still wont give me auto
wot is protocall if someone on fixed pressure is not getting on with it does NHS just leave u to struggle or do they have to offer something else
sleep tech is very understanding good at listening but nothing is changing as in how rough i feel, ready to give cpap back and say i;ve tried for 5 weeks i cant get on with it, but dont wanna go back to high AHI, esp as apeneas are being treated but i feel awfull
