    1st night

just got through first night, of using resmed ultra full face mask, and machine set at new pressure level, t went better then i thuoght it would, i slept for 3 hours, woke up, then got back to sleep for another 3 hours, each time ws asleep before pressure ramped up, its set a 4, then after 20 mins it increases up tp 14.5, was using a nasal mask, but on trial run mouth opened at 14.5 and choked me !! so using full face now,, dident av a fixed pressure till yesterday, as was on a week trial, then pressure was 4 and adjusted on its own to suit my breathing, can see full face mask is going too take time to get use to, but 1st night could of been worst, tried full face very first night 8 night ago, took it off in my sllep, dident last night so that good my AHI has was 130 a hour, now its 4 a hour

Hi there, Getting used to the mask takes a bit, I think it took about a month before I stopped taking it off in my sleep. After a bit you probably will not notice it is there, but watch out if you have to get up in the night, the cpap machine does not like to be dragged around by its hose because you have forgotten to take the mask off. I know this can happen very easily because I have come very close to doing it myself. Keep on with it as soon you will wonder why you had problems with it.
      All the best

        Good news

Glad things are going well for you. I agree, after a while, you just put the mask on, and go to sleep,it becomes part of your routine, and you don't even notice it, Besides, the difference it makes to your life is amazing!

Good Luck and keep up the good work
