I have a ResMed Autoset 11 and can not figure out how to change the settings on this unit. Does a card need to be inserted into the back or is it a combo of button pushing? I'd like to be able to change the starting pressure for ramping and possibly the mask setting. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi,
I have one of those and was given the full instruction manual with it, mind that isn't much help to you.
Go the ResMed website and you will find the user manual available for download there, here's the link.

Machine configuration is mostly split in two distinct areas. The patient side of things and the clinican side of it.
The published manuals, the one you get with the machine, allows for minimal changes to non-essential operation. For example, LCD dimming, changing the clock etc.
The "secret" clinican manuals (some of which published on the US websites) tells the nurses how to change the pressure etc. This shouldn't be done by patients lightly as such changes should be based on fact instead of what you think be be good for you. So these changes should really be done in full cooperation with the sleep clinic.

Yes I agree with all the above as good sound advice, plus altering anything without the sleep clinics say so could also jeapordise your driving licence.Originally posted by James @ Intus View PostMachine configuration is mostly split in two distinct areas.
