    Here!

    Hi Daffyd

Your first stop has to be with the people who sponsor this forum - www.eu-pap.co.uk. First class outfit, great support and back-up.

If you are not happy there, go to Respironics and Resmed in UK or in US, after that Google 'CPAP' and be inundated with sites.

Do you definately have to buy? If that is about the NHS taking too long, you could consider renting. Some folk never buy - always rent.

    TF
    Respironics REMstar 'M' Series APAP.
Resmed Mirage 'Quattro FX' Full Face Mask with a 'Quattro' headgear.

      Welcome Daffyd,

Many members here have products ordered through us (or handed out by us). We carry the largest selection of machines, masks and accessories anywhere in Europe. We have accounts directly with the manufacturers (in comparison to those abroad who buy old overstock form hospitals). For a machine, you will need documented evidence of diagnosis. But feel free to get in touch. Otherwise, some of the manufacturers have rental schemes, but of course over time they add up to much more than buying outright. It all depends on your budget.

By the way, please keep it in English here. Wales is in the UK but without moderators who can read Welsh (though Google helps) all we can do is delete them. Also, please keep insults private via the forum's private message system. They too will be deleted and may result in bans of unspecified length, something we haven't had to do in about a year now!

      So please enjoy your stay!

I posted a more detailed example in the other thread but please have a look here...

You'll need an Auto-CPAP and a Mask to make a complete set. Heated Humidifier is optional. The type of mask required depens on your breathing and sleeping habits. If you can breathe through your nose consistently OK, a nasal cushion or nasal pillow mask will do nicely. If you breathe through your mouth, a Full Face mask is the way forward.

All in all, a complete new, modern kit can be between £600 and £800.
