    Hi
Just wondered if any of you go along to a support group, or if not would you like to? Do you know of ones in your area and what would you like to get out of them? Thinking of setting one up locally.

There are a couple scattered around England, but only the Humber one and the Welsh one seem active.

      Humber: http://www.apnoea.org.uk/

      Welsh: http://www.welshsas.org/

There are a few listed here:

Debs, you have this one at your disposal:

ScottishSleepApnoea.co.uk is available for sale on Atom. Buy this premium domain name and get a free logo. ScottishSleepApnoea.co.uk has strong buyer interest, so act now!

But then again, this Forum is a support group in its own right too. Just with avatars and handles instead of faces and names. High-tech, twenyfirst centry so to speak.

as you say the forum is a great support group, but it would be good to see if there are people local round about?

          Hi,

I went the humber apnoea annual meeting recently. There was a talk by a local doctor who specialised in the field. Then we browsed the products of the manufacturers who had set up stands there (devilbiss, resmed, respironics, fisher and paykel). They had a raffle and auctioned off a cpap donated to them by devilbiss (i think). There was also a table full of little accessories for apnoea sufferers. It was good.
