humidifier problem

Hi my remstar m series humidifier has a problem,started last night the blue light on the temp dial is flashing and the heat plate dosnt seem to be getting hot any idea's? paul

You describe exactly the problem I had with mine a few weeks ago. The book says to return it to Respironics and that is what I did. They fitted a new heating plate, checked and tested the entire rig and sent it back to me, free of charge, on warranty.

Do you own yours or is it NHS? Private, return to Respironics (call them to get a Returns Number and arrange pick-up, etc). NHS, back to the Clinic, I suppose.

Oh! the book also says to check you have all the electrical connectors pushed firmly home. Apart from that, flashing blue light = return to sender, I'm afraid.
