hose cleaning

Hi everybody talks to great length about mask cleaning what about cleaning the hose ? as i use a humidifier the pipe collects water is there a risk of gremlins breeding in the tube, can it be cleaned using milton or something similar,can the mask be soaked in milton fluid
still struggling with sore nose but im getting there slowly paul

Hi Paul,

Bit of a plug coming up here but relevant. Until Citrus II, there was no PAP/Respiratory specific cleaning agent for domestic use available to end-users. With the spray you can quite comfortably clean the hose.

Otherwise, any mild detergent will help. Some people tie a cloth to a bit of rope and pull it through the hose after soaking it in diluted "safe around food" cleaning agents such as Ecover.
