  • Portable power supply (for camping) advice needed please

    Hi all
I use a Philips DreamStation 2 at home but will be off camping for 4 days whre there is no electricity supply in the tent.
I've been looking at portable power supplies but the prices vary massivly. I just want the cheapest that works with my CPAP machine.
I don't understand the voltage, amps etc so would appreciate any help on choosing one.
    Hope someone can advise.
    Many Thanks
    Andy

    Good Morning,

    Thank you for your post.

We sell the ION Pro Compact 12V CPAP Battery Pack which is £299.99 - https://www.intushealthcare.com/prod...-battery-pack/

You can connect your machine to the battery using the machine mains power plug. Alternatively you can buy the Respironics 12V DC Cable for DreamStation 1& 2 - https://www.intushealthcare.com/prod...12v-dc-cables/ and connect your machine to the battery which would give you a longer usage time on the battery than the mains power plug option.

The battery comes with a mains power charge and a solar panel that you can charge the battery with.

The duration of the battery will depend upon what machine you have, what pressure requirements you have and whether you connect the machine to the battery using the machine power supply or connecting it via a 12v DC cable

This is our cheaper battery option and this battery can be used on a plane.

Do you want to have a look at the above links and let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of any further assistance?

        Hi Andy,

        No worries.

Just make sure whatever battery you opt for is suitable to use with a CPAP machine and won't cause any damage or invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
