Use my Resmed S9 with battery

I have an S9 with humidifier and heated hose. Last night, we had several power cuts so I connected my Resmed battery. Is it necessary to remove the humidifier and heated hose or does the S9 disable them automatically when a battery is connected? My battery ran out before dawn but it hasn’t been charged for a few weeks.

Hi,

We would advise you to turn the humidifier off if you are using your battery as your CPAP machine is power hungry. The humidifier can only be run from the mains. If you are not sure how to turn the humidifier off then yes you can remove it from your CPAP machine.
