  • Travel CPAP Pillow?

Does anybody know if such a thing as a travel CPAP pillow exists? I'm envisaging an inflatable pillow, with maybe a nice soft fabric cover.

I have to do a fair bit of overnight travelling to get to my hospital appointments (sleep clinic and other) and I can't imagine dragging my CPAP pillow with me every time. On the other hand, the CPAP pillow makes a real difference to how well I sleep. Considering that my sleep is still not great quality, every little thing that improves it is significant.

We've never come across one that is smaller than the true ones but if you do, let us know as we can try and source them.

      Thanks, James.

In all fairness, they really are not that big, for a pillow. I just have more travelling than usual to do this year, and am feeling a little faint of heart at the size of bag I will need just to fit in my usual stuff plus the basic machine/mask/hose let alone trying to wedge in a King CPAP pillow, too! I really like the idea of something that packs down absolutely flat.

James, I have found a smaller one, but it's in the States and the shipping is more than the cost of the pillow!

Find all the information you need to make the most of CPAP therapy and treat Sleep Apnea. Read tons of reviews on CPAP Machines, Masks & Supplies.

Would Intus be able to import them and sell them on for less than cpap.com's charge for (pillow + P&P)? Of course, it might not be worth your while, if there is not enough demand for them.

        Thanks

Thanks for posting this, Grumpy! You're right, it is expensive. I guess I might try to stretch to that price for a pillow designed for CPAP use, but it's a bit too much of a gamble when it's not. Who knew pillows could be so expensive?!

              try ebay

I have bought tempur pillows on ebay before; and at a big saving.

No tempur ones cheap at the moment but you could try this other brand:
ResMed S9 Autoset with humidifier and ClimateLine
ResMed Mirage Liberty and Quattro Air masks
              Sinupulse

Ah! Thank you! That might be just the thing! I'm sorry I haven't replied to your post before: I was away from home.
