  • hose cover

I've just bought a gorgeous pink fleecy cover for my CPAP hose. I hope it will stop rain-out which I've been getting recently. Very pretty though.

I don't use a humidifier all year round and don't need the hose cover in summer.

Hi Poppy - how did you get on with the hose fleece? Did it have the desired effect?

if it doesnt get a hose lift. to keep the pipe off your face. it also lets the water drain back into the CPAP machine.
Brilliant bit of kit. if you do though would recomend getting the metal bracket to screw onto a headboard or somewhere as the under mattress base supplied is not very steady/.

Extra benefit of a hose cover ........... you dont get weird lines dug into your arm/side/face from the octopus tentacle part of the machine when it attacks you during the night. Your arm ends up looking creased.

Do you have an F+P machine with it integrated or are you using a universal one?

That said, I think ResMed are introducing their own system for this as well now. Heated hoses are becoming increasingly popular.

No it is a universal one. You will note I use the DeVilbiss Cube which does not have an integrated heating hose...

I somehow managed to not see your signature when asking that...
