Hi,
I'm Liz & a new user of CPAP full face mask, I have a Resmed Mirage Quatro.
I was wondering if anyone has used a Gel cushion to cope with leaks. And if so how succesful is it? Thanks a lot

I want to know that answer too!
I have a gel mask but that doesn't work for me at all so I wondered about the gel liner.
Lets hope someone has tried one.

They're fantastic but expensive as leak stoppers. Learn to adjust your headgear.

I found a gel cushion on Ebay for a bit under £25 from USA including delivery, which isn't too bad if it works, a lot if it doesn't.

Buying the first one isn't too bad but they only last a short while so it becomes an expensive monthly outgoing. If it is only to fix leakage, learn to adjust your headgear. If it's about preventing and/or healing sores on your nose - what they're designed for as far as I know - a one-off £25 isn't so bad.

I was hoping to use one to correct the shape of my nose so that any mask will fit properly without the leaks.
I find the sleepweaver the closest fit but it still leaks, by using the gel it might help it work better.
Or perhaps it wont and I will have wasted my money.... I might have a look at my gel mask and see if I can deconstruct it and use the gel bit with another mask.. anything is worth a try!
