  • ResMed Climate control hose

    Hello

Has anyone had trouble with the hose springing leaks/splitting?

I've had my machine a little over a month, and the hose has split right where it meets the attachment end where the mask attaches. I'm not sure if its twisting in my sleep or what.

I can't find any warranty notice on the packaging that it came in either

I haven't but I did have to contact ResMed in Abingdon about something else and they were really helpful. If you have a problem with some kit it may be worth a call.

And be VERY careful about where you apply force when separating the mask and hose. The Aussi hose had the same problem (a weak joint) but have reinforcedas of ages ago.

I'll watch out for that on mine. The old hose used to weaken where it met the plastic fitting adaptor on the Quattro mask. Eventually it would split and I would tape it up before finally giving up and getting a new one from Resmed. I find the support from Resmed very good so it's definately worth talking to them. I'm sure the warranty on the hose is well supported.
