Masks or Accessories?

I'll ask here so as not to get caught up in the Sleepweaver thread in Masks.

Which will be available first - and when - James - the full face Sleepweaver or the Intus heated hose?

Those sure are the million dollar questions...

Full Face SleepWeaver - all we can say is (as that's all we know) that it's on the roadmap. It's most likely later than sooner in 2011, I wouldn't hold my breath (apnoea), nor reduce my breath volume (hypopnoea). As FF is more complex to fit than Nasal, it will take some time and tweaking, and who knows they may launch US first before Europe. Really can't say, sorry.

Heated Hose - is still in a deep ugly paperwork situation. I will check in tomorrow with them to see whether there has been any further news. It could be ready, it could be next winter.

I though mask is already part of the accessories?

Here in the UK we see the machine and the mask as two seperate, essential elements. Accessories are the additional options, like humidifiers, hose management, chin straps, heated hoses etc.
