  • Anyone tried the sample RemZzzs liners?

After seeing a couple of glowing reviews, I could hardly wait to try mine.

Well my findings from the first night were:
    - The edges at the top catch my eyelashes
    - When I woke up, some of the other edges had disappeared inside my mask
    - The material seemed to break the seal between the soft plastic edge of the mask and my face, so the mask moves around much more
    - It didn't really stop any leaks - maybe I now need to adjust the mask for a tighter fit.

So all in all, not an amazing improvement. However I will persevere with the remaining samples. If any of you have tips for getting the best out of RemZzzs, please let us know.

Please check out the detailed fitting instructiosn here:

Especially the pull-and-stretch technique is important to fit it properly.

Almost everybody experience a better fit and reduced leaks so if you are getting the opposite, that sure is odd. Perhaps tweak the tightness of the mask a bit, check out the fitting instructions once more as well as the video. I'm sure you'll find a way to make it work.

Thanks James - I will make sure to apply the "stretch" technique tonight.

I have also tightened the straps very slightly.

I am sorry to say but I also did not get on with them, found the flaps of material outside the edges of the mask were extremely annoying, didn't make a better seal (for me), and so didn't really enhance my sleep any...

Having said that, I am pretty compliant without much in the way of assists... nasal mask and fixed pressure is all I was ever offered, never tried a humidifier and can't see that it would benefit me as I get 6.5 - 7 hrs good sleep most nights....

This is just my opinion and does not detract from the fact that a lot of people find the remzzz helpful.

Did you try cutting away the bits that annoyed you?

You're right, of course there will never be one product that suits 100% of the people. Not even an iPhone or Ferrari does that!

I found quite the opposite. They reduced all leaks to nil, made the mask far more comfortable, reduced marks on my face to almost nil, in fact I Cant find anything negative to Say about them (unlike me I know!)

Did you cut them to size or just use them as is?

I just used them as is, no need to do anything.

Just wondering - are you stretching them to fit as per their instructions?

Yes I did, I found that the mask still leaked around the eye area and because there is loose material there, it flapped around in my eye area and around the mouth area was just plain uncomfortable, but as I said previously these are just my issues and no two people have the same!

Yep, even the sleep weaver, just fold the bottom bit in half to stop it going in your mouth.
                          It works a treat!
